Dimel teaching materials are not currently available because we are starting their revision to align with OIML D 14 and the modular structure that has been developed by the APLMF.

We have set up a distance (internet) training course for the verification of taximeters. We could consider the participation of Portuguese speaking countries in this course.

Dimel has decided to offer training courses in legal metrology to South American countries. This project is now at the preparatory stage for the first course (pilot).

We have undertaken some technical cooperation recently involving either course or on the job training with Argentina and Uruguay (MERCOSUL); Bolivia, Mexico and Paraguay (SIM); Angola and Mozambique (PTB/SADCMEL) and Costa Rica (Brazil).

As part of SIM's activities, Dimel had given lectures and short courses on prepackaging.
